What You Need To Know Before Your Kybella Appointment
Kybella is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Post-Kybella injection, you should expect some mild to moderate swelling. Swelling is a sign that the deoxycholic acid is working.
It takes about 12 weeks to see full results.
Avoid touching, pressing, massaging, manipulating or rubbing the area.
Avoid exercise for at least three to five days after injections and make sure to drink plenty of water to help your healing process. You’ll also want to avoid excess heat or sun exposure, as your skin will be more sensitive while it heals.
